Mr. Attipoe is the founder and Chief Investment Officer for Africa Trust
Capital and also the fund manager for Synchrony Venture Fund, an Africa focused SME fund
with interests in Agriculture, Logistics and Financial Technology companies in Ghana.
He brings a wealth of practical insight into best practices of Asset Management
and Private Equity funds in the USA to the board of Africa Trust Capital. His experience
is in Pension Funds (Defined Benefits & Defined Contributions Plans), Alternative
Investments and Fixed Income securities. Mr. Attipoe has led reviews of 401K Portfolios
of Various Fortune 500 Companies with assets in excess of $4 Billion. Prior to Africa
Trust Capital, Mr. Attipoe spent more than 5 years with Ernst & Young in Columbus,
Ohio, USA and the Volta River Authority in Ghana as an Engineer.
He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA Finance) from Edinburgh
Business School (U.K), BSc. Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of
Science and Technology (Ghana). He also is a fellow of the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. He chairs the Investment
Committee of the board Mr Attipoe currently sits on the board of Framig Company Limited,
an agro exporting company and Mantle Engineering, a logistics and mining support firm as
an investor representative.
Mr. Boamah-Omane has held senior positions at Ernst & Young professional practice in Ghana and within the SDC Group (SDC Finance & SDC Capital) where he has served as the Group Chief Risk Officer & Internal Auditor. He chairs the Risk, Audit & Compliance Committee of the board.He has experience in investment risk management, auditing, corporate finance, economic research, and management consulting and training. He has MSc. in Strategic Management from Trinity University College-Delaware, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - U.K) and has attended various conferences for ACCA-West Africa as a resource person. He currently sits on the governing council of the ACCA in Ghana.
Mr Klutsey has several years consulting and industry experience across various sectors including Asset Management, Oil and Gas, Mining, and Power generation. He has previously led financial due diligence projects on major power projects in Ghana for the IFC and other financiers. He boasts a thorough understanding of the tax regime in Ghana and has particular expertise in financial modelling, capital and operational budgeting, investment advisory and application of IFRS across various industries. He has an MBA from Heriot-Watt University (UK), Advanced Diploma in Investment Banking and Capital Markets from the London School of Business & Finance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
