Mr. Attipoe is the founder and Chief Investment Officer for Africa Trust Capital and also the fund manager for Synchrony Venture Fund, an Africa focused SME fund with interests in Agriculture, Logistics and Financial Technology companies in Ghana.
He brings a wealth of practical insight into best practices of Asset Management and Private Equity funds in the USA to the board of Africa Trust Capital. His experience is in Pension Funds (Defined Benefits & Defined Contributions Plans), Alternative Investments and Fixed Income securities. Mr. Attipoe has led reviews of 401K Portfolios of Various Fortune 500 Companies with assets in excess of $4 Billion. Prior to Africa Trust Capital, Mr. Attipoe spent more than 5 years with Ernst & Young in Columbus, Ohio, USA and the Volta River Authority in Ghana as an Engineer.
He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA Finance) from Edinburgh Business School (U.K), BSc. Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). He also is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. He chairs the Investment Committee of the board Mr Attipoe currently sits on the board of Framig Company Limited, an agro exporting company and Mantle Engineering, a logistics and mining support firm as an investor representative.
Mr. Aboagye is a CFA Charter holder and a member of the CFA Emirates society. He also holds an MBA from Hult International Business School and a First Class Banking and Finance degree from University of Ghana. Kwame has over 8 years’ experience in the finance industry across Ghana and the UAE with expertise in investment services, commercial banking, private wealth management and portfolio management. He worked as a relationship manager managing both retail and oil and gas corporate clients with UBA Ghana. He currently works a senior analyst with Naseba Group in the United Arab Emirates with focus on real estate, energy, etc., providing financial analysis and investment opinion on investment opportunities to the Group. He also utilizes his experience to support Ghanaians living in the Middle East in managing their finances to create wealth from their years of services overseas. Kwame believes in the potential of Africa to emerge as a global economic block and is dedicated to this course. He utilizes his network of investors to promote African business opportunities. He is keen to support the effort to put Africa’s funds, whether overseas or locally, to beneficial projects in Africa.
Delali Attiogbe has worked as a Senior Manager with Genentech (member of the Roche Group), a biopharmaceutical company located in South San Francisco, California, USA. She has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector ranging from logistics and supply chain management to commercial marketing and managed care. Additionally, Delali possesses deep content expertise and has served as a panelist and presenter at many engagements related to market access and patient assistance programs. She currently serves on the External Advisory Board of the Biomedical Engineering department at the University of Rochester, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Delali holds a Masters in Biotechnology (MB) from the University of Pennsylvania; a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College, F.W. Olin School of Business; and received a Certificate in Health Economics and Outcomes Research from the University of Washington.
Prof. Paul N. Buatsi is the founder and Managing Consultant of Omega Strategic Resources Ltd. He works closely with African governments and the private sector to facilitate investment and market entry. Paul has extensive experience in the UK, USA, and Sub-Saharan Africa in organizational leadership and governance, business development, marketing research and strategy development, new product development, export policy and strategy development, educational policy and initiatives towards youth development. As Executive Director for Africa, International Leadership Foundation, he provides leadership for teams in several countries that train leaders of integrity for holistic societal transformation.
Paul holds a B.A. (Hons), Geography and MBA (Marketing) from the University of Ghana and a Ph.D. in Marketing/International Marketing from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, U.K. He is a founding Fellow and past President of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (Ghana), a Director of the International Society for Marketing & Development, member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-Ghana and the International Association of African Business and Development.
He was the founding Dean of the KNUST School of Business, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana); Dean, Graduate School of Business, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (Ghana); Visiting Professor, Faculty of Education Management and Policy Studies, University of Pretoria (Republic of South Africa) and the Hanken Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration (Finland).
Prof. Buatsi has been a highly sought-after Consultant to several public and private sector organisations such as Ghana Post Ltd., the Graphic Communications Group, Ghacem Ghana Ltd., Millicom Ghana Ltd., the African Capital Markets Forum (Ghana), the Ghana Pharmacy Council, International Trade Centre (UNDP/WTO)/Ministry of Trade (Ghana), the Royal Danish Government/Royal Danish Embassy (DANIDA), Ministry of Tourism (Ghana)/World Tourism Organisation/UNDP, Ministry of Finance/Government of Ghana/World Bank/Ghana Cocoa board. Prof. Buatsi has served on the boards of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), Students Loan Trust Fund (Ghana) and the Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) Board.
Mr. Boamah-Omane has held senior positions at Ernst & Young professional practice in Ghana and within the SDC Group (SDC Finance & SDC Capital) where he has served as the Group Chief Risk Officer & Internal Auditor. He chairs the Risk, Audit & Compliance Committee of the board.He has experience in investment risk management, auditing, corporate finance, economic research, and management consulting and training. He has MSc. in Strategic Management from Trinity University College-Delaware, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - U.K) and has attended various conferences for ACCA-West Africa as a resource person. He currently sits on the governing council of the ACCA in Ghana.
Mr Klutsey has several years consulting and industry experience across various sectors including Asset Management, Oil and Gas, Mining, and Power generation. He has previously led financial due diligence projects on major power projects in Ghana for the IFC and other financiers. He boasts a thorough understanding of the tax regime in Ghana and has particular expertise in financial modelling, capital and operational budgeting, investment advisory and application of IFRS across various industries. He has an MBA from Heriot-Watt University (UK), Advanced Diploma in Investment Banking and Capital Markets from the London School of Business & Finance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
